Q. Why did we open Texasconsignmentshop.com?
When people would ask me what I did for a living I told them I was in charge of the ebay program for a $2 billion dollar company. I would always get asked if I could help sell their items on ebay for them, so I decided to go out on my own to create a small business and help others who did not have the time or knowledge to get the most they could for their items.
Q. Where do you sell your items?
We prefer to sell most of the items through ebay as it has the highest visibility of any other online channel. The items will also usually sell within a few week’s time. We do sell through many other online websites also. I will pick the websites that will generate the highest selling price for you.
Q. How long have you been selling on ebay?
We started selling on ebay back in 2014. Since then we have maintained close to 100% positive feedback, Top Rated Seller, and Power Seller Status. All of these will generate the highest selling price for the items sent to us. We have achieved the highest trust that can be earned on ebay from everyone that has bought from us in the past.
Q. What kinds of item do you take it?
We can sell almost anything for you if it will sell for more than $75. There are some items that we are not allowed to sell on ebay. If you ever have a question about an item please use our contact page and we can let you know if we can sell it for you.
Q. How about clothes?
No problem. Live somewhere else? We accept designer clothes worth $75 or greater from all over the country. Please visit our Contact Us or call 210-663-7557 and we’ll arrange it.
Q. Can we drop off items?
Yes, our address is 10942 Wye Dr. Suite 207 San Antonio TX 78232. Feel free to give us a call to setup a drop off time.
Q. Do you pick up items?
We do pick up the items from our customers that live near San Antonio, TX. Depending on the quality and quaintly of the items you would need sold the pick-up fee would be free up to about $25. We will always work with you and be as fair as possible regarding this. The pick-up fee would be agreed upon by both parties when the contract is filled out.
Q. What are the consignment fees?
Please feel free to use our fees calculator to find out how much you can make for your items using our service.
Basic guideline:
Selling Price- $0.01 to $100.00 = 35%
$100.01 to $500.00 = 32.5%
$500.01 and up = 30%
Plus any outside website fees. For example: ebay final value fee is between (13% to 14%) This would be in addition to our 30 to 35%
Q. What happens if my items don’t sell?
Items that don’t get snatched up after 45 days are donated to thrift stores or our favorite non-profits. You can reclaim your items but we do charge $5 per item for this service.
Q. How do I get paid?
We can either send the money directly to your paypal account or we will mail you a check.
